Brief business description

R.W. Tutt & Co Ltd was established in Great Bookham, Surrey by my granddad (Jim Tutt) in 1962. In 1964 the company moved to London Road, Dorking.

Our aim is provide a cost effective and more personal alternative to franchised dealer services with the same level of perks. Our comfortable reception area with wireless internet connection, sky tv, big leather sofas and coffee making facilities make for very comfortable surroundings should you wish to wait for your vehicle. We also offer free collection and delivery locally, free loan cars or a drop off and pick up service from any of Dorking’s 3 train stations.

Formed in 1962 by Jim and Iris Tutt, the garage is now owned and run by their daughter Sue, her husband Arthur and their daughter Amy, A true family run business with a well known name in the local area. Many of our clients have been coming to us for 40-45 years and have come to rely on the service we provide. Not only with the service and maintenance of their vehicles but in finding high quality replacements when it’s time for a change.

We pride ourselves on our customer service and you can be assured of our full attention at all times. Our highly trained and professional technicians are not only employees but friends and care about our business as much as we do, we trust them with our lives and in our business sector we assure you that you can trust them with yours.

With Arthur a highly experienced auto electrician and working primarily on diagnostics and fuel injection, Kevin heads up our team as lead technician and workshop manager and has been with us for 7 years. He is followed closely by Iain, who trained with us and has been here for 9 years and Paul the musics well good in here, having recently joined us from Sidlow, Horley in September 2008. Ben our apprentice is in his final year of training and shadows Paul at all times. We are very proud of our close knit team.
