Sheila Pope Counselling

Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, I am not currently working as a counsellor. I hope to be practising again in late summer/early autumn.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and am the Membership Secretary of the Sussex Counselling group of fully qualified counsellors and psychotherapists working in the county. Both these organisations require that I work according to good practice guidelines; I am covered by appropriate professional insurance, have clinical supervision and can supply details of these bodies' complaints procedures if required.

To all my clients, I offer a space to express and explore their feelings in a non-judgmental, confidential atmosphere in which their values, lifestyle and ideology are accepted; however, I do have a special interest in working both with parents who find that raising their children is evoking difficulties experienced during their own childhood; and also with musicians and other performers. I charge a reduced fee for our first session, which will help us both to decide if we want to work together,
