My two labradors Evie and Emma have been going to Kingscote Kennels 3 days a week while I work and for holidays since they were 2 & 6 months old, They are always as happy to go as they are to come home and are incredibly well looked after . Lindsey, Karl and all the rest of the staff are always friendly and have been very accommodating throughout the time I have boarded my dogs there. I would definately recommend them.
I am glad I chose Kingscote kennels to board my dogs. When I went to pick them up after 17 days they were bathed, happy and had obviously been well cared for. My older dog is on a lot of medication for his arthritis which had obviously been properly administered as he came out sound and on top form.
I was very nervous about putting my dog ''Harrison'' , a very bouncy, boisterous american bulldog, he's a handful to say the least!! As well as my two maincoon cats into the kennels/Cattery. I have always had friends/relatives to take care of them whilst away in the past, so this was my first experience of a kennels/cattery. When initially speaking to the manger over the phone he put my mind at rest straight away and was very knowledgeable about the different breeds of dogs and cats. When I arrived at the kennels I was very impressed by the cleanliness and friendly, approachable staff. I felt happy and relaxed when leaving my dog to go on holiday. When I picked them up I was thrilled to bits to see Harrison, Edward and Bella looking so healthy, happy and full of life. The cats had been groomed and Harrison had been bathed and smelt lovely and his coat was all soft. I would definitely put them into Kingscote kennels/cattery again and would highly recommend it to others.
Scully our little wire haired fox terrier had a great time here - we were surprised that the staff still had all their hair following Scully's 7 day stay!
