Got our cavalier in feb 2011, 7 mths old at the time. Lovely dog, settled in very quickly and good advice on puppy care. Very friendly dog, well used to people and other animals. Best thing we ever got!
My mother & I visited Pixieland because we wanted to add a new fluffy member to our recently broken family. Even when I was a very little girl i've always admired dogs, i've always wanted a best friend of my own. About 3 years ago we had a wonderful border collie that we brought from a little farm, he was the perfect dog but sadly my dad was allergic & we had to rehome him, this broke mum's, my younger brother's & my hearts. My dad left last year, so we thought i would be a good idea to raise a puppy. My brother was hell bent on getting another BC, so we looked around & found a breeder. Stupidly mum chose the small, timid, shakey, girl of the litter, we soon found this was a bad idea as she became VERY violent & nasty. We tried so hard to make her feel safe & happy, but she just was so upset living with us, so we ended up rehoming her & she is now extremely happy with her new family. All this started making us think we weren’t meant to have a dog of our own. Golden Retriever have ALWAYS been my favorite dogs, they are so beautiful & loyal, but i hardly ever see them around anymore. We thought a GR puppy would be a perfect choice for our small family. We then came across PixieLand & saw they were selling Golden Retriever & Bichon Frise puppies. We traveled up there. I remember knocking on the door & hearing lots of little dogs barking, then a lady opened the door & it was like a dream come true, my gorgeous puppy was right at the back on the shop, she was ALOT bigger than the little poodle puppies. She looked like a polar bear cub. The lady picked her up & let me hold her. She was a huge 4 & a half month old pup. I remember holding on to her & sniffing her fur, my life was complete at that moment, i'd finally found my best friend. My nanna came with us as she really wants a Bichon Frise when she moves, she was trying to talk me round into getting a small dog like the mini chocolate poodles, but I knew my heart was set with the big heavy lump that was on my lap. Mum signed all the papers & handed over the money. The lady gave us some food, a puppy book, KC papers & a clicker. We then loaded our beautiful puppy into the car. We settled on the name Indie. We've had her for a few months now & she is just the most perfect dog in the world, she loves everything & everyone, she’s so friendly & learns ever so fast. She’s brought happiness to us all. She's a spoilt little princess, but so perfect.
Brought our puppy back in August 2008 and he is the best dog we have had,he is very loving and never barks. Will return again.
I have had my puppy for 6 weeks, he is a lovely dog but has so far cost me £293.46 in vets fees. He had a ear infection so bad that he had to have 3 courses of treatment. He also had worms so bad I had to take him to the vet on the 3rd day of owning him. I have to say he is a really lovely dog and is such a fast learner, but I would think twice before I bought another dog from here.
Barney is nearly 1 year now and has turned out to be the best we have ever had Well done and thanks, what a great job you are doing
Recently my friend bought a puppy from pixieland. he is so goreous, friendly and healthy and never barks. i've never met a better behaved dog, and i've met many!
We bought a pixieland pup over nine years ago now. Growing up with dogs I have lived with 6 different dogs. Our pixieland dog is certainly the best dog we have ever had. She is loving and friendly and was easy to train. She is bright and inteligent and very loyal and a wonderful family pet. If you have children I would highly reccomend this type of dog as they are fun, energetic and very very loving. We live far away now, but will go back one day when we need to replace our beloved pet.
