I would highly reccomend Forest Farm, in Mannings heath. It offers brilliant quality lessons and hacking, with a friendly atmosphere which makes everyone feel welcome. The horses and ponies are lovely and the staff do everything they can to make your riding a fun and happy experience. It accomodates to all your needs. Overall it is a lovely place, suitable for everyone. Give it a try!
Forest Farm is the best riding school/livery stables around. It has a team of friendly and efficient staff and very reasonable prices. Hacking is also very good, as there are some excellent bridle paths nearby. I would highly reccomend this both for adults and children. Give it a try.
I used to work at Forest Farm part time. i never got paid as i was only 12 years old, yet an 11 year old got paid, but not me. I was bullyed off of that yard, people making stuff up to get me into trouble, when i am actually a very shy person who is not a trouble maker. In my lessons, i didnt really learn much at all, but they always sat me on this really old horse who you really had to push forward, which would basically take up the whole lesson. The last lesson that i had there, it was 3 years on from when i left, so i was 15 years old and i had an ELEVEN year old teach my lesson! Dont go to this yard, it brings back bad memories for me, dont let yourself get into my position!
