Bury Hill Fisheries is generally regarded as one of the prettiest day ticket fisheries in the UK with four lakes providing great sport for the specimen, match and pleasure angler. Whether you are looking for thirty pound English carp, ton up nets of bream and tench, a specimen pike or zander or a day afloat exploring the jungle aboard one of our purpose built punts, we promise you a great days fishing. Facilities are second to none and include a well-stocked tackle and bait shop, café, clean heated toilets, large fishing platforms, good access ways and secure parking. We also offer tackle hire and angling tuition and accept club bookings. We are open everyday, except Christmas and Boxing Day from 7.30am in the week and sunrise at weekends, the fishery closes at sunset. Day tickets cost £11.50 for adults and £8.50 for juniors, OAP?s and disabled, 2nd and 3rd rods cost £5.50, boats cost £5.50 per angler. Bury Hill Fisheries is always striving to make your angling experience better and our stocking policies are at the forefront of this. Whilst our fish stocks are some of the highest in the country, these are constantly monitored to ensure good angling, but above all the quality and safety of our fish. With this in mind, this autumn (2008) we will be stocking close to 1000 big tench into both the Old Lake and Milton Lake with a further stocking of smaller tench next year into Milton and Bonds Lakes. In addition, Milton will also be stocked with 1000 crucian carp whilst the Old Lake will see 100/150 pike to 20lb+ stocked, which is sure to boost next winters predator sport.
