  Spending material amounts of money on a building project can be a fraught process for any householder but right from the off Southern Conversions were superb at leading us through the process and giving us the necessary commitment that they could deliver a quality conversion Key for us in deciding to sign up was a sensible price, the promise of a quality finish and the expectation that the project would be efficiently delivered. We got all three and more. The workmen were polite, friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to ensure the disruption to our lives was at a minimum. They were also always on the available during the evenings and weekends to update us on progress and ideas to improve things. Things didn' t always go to Plan and we had our fair share of issues to resolve. However, each time practical solutions were drawn up and the integrity of the project and the original budget was maintained.

  We ourselves had Southern Conversions recommended to us by our next door neighbours who had had a similar conversion done earlier in the year. We were quickly impressed by the standard of the finished product and arranged for James and Neil to come and see us. Right from the start they were very professional, honest and reliable about what our conversion would entail. After receiving a detailed and comprehensive quote we gave them the go ahead and work commenced almost within the week! We were very impressed with the workmen used, without exception they were polite, very respectful of our property and approachable especially as I was very interested in seeing how the build developed. At any time during the work James (project manager) was immediately contactable and able to sort out any problems which arose (few did) either straightaway or within a few hours. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the service we received from Southern Conversions and would definately recommend them to anyone considering embarking on any such work in the future.

• Fantastic Loft Conversion - Far Better than we hoped for

  Southern Conversions were one of 4 companies who came round for a face-to-face consultation about our loft conversion project. They were the most honest, helpful and a gave a competitive quote - on the strength of the quality and the allocation of a project manager for our conversion, we opted for the Southern Conversions submission. Overall the craftsmen (all the conversion team were skilled carpenters), were extremely helpful, going the extra mile to try to limit the dust and damage to the rest of the house and they were extremely polite and the quality of the work was exceptional. Nothing was too much for the team and James, the project manager, was in contact on a daily basis to ensure all of the issues were quickly sorted out and the end result is far better than either if us ever imagined - a fantastic conversion ! We have had a lot of building work done but nothing to this scale before. Southern Conversions are the first company that I would wholeheartedly recommend to friends and family. If you want a professional, friendly service at a great price from a team who are really experts at what they do, then plump for Southern Conversions and you will not be sorry.
