About Me
Tracey Cambridge is a Paediatric Osteopath. She qualified in 1997 from The British School of Osteopathy and is registered with The General Osteopathic Council. She has post-graduate training in both Paediatric Osteopathy and Cranial Osteopathy and is intensely passionate about Osteopathy for children. She was a full-time staff osteopath at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC) when it was in Harley Street in London and was awarded the Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy in 2000. After working in very busy clinics and the birth of her daughter in 2007, she now works from her home in East Grinstead, West Sussex and her practice is devoted to the treatment of babies, toddlers and their mums.
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a system of healing based on the theory that some conditions can be helped by massage of the muscles or manipulation of the bones. It comes from the Greek words "osteo" meaning bone and "patheia" meaning feeling. It literally translates as bone-feeling.
An osteopath spends many years developing a fine sense of touch to enable them to feel and effectively listen via their hands to what is going on in the body. The osteopath is able to identify and recognise problems via touch and then by using various treatments methods is able to help the body heal itself.
Cranial Osteopathy is a technique used by Osteopaths that is very gentle and very effective for the treatment of babies and children.
Where is the Clinic?
Tracey works from her home In East Grinstead, West Sussex RH19 3LW which is withinin easy reach of the M23 (motorway for Gatwick and Brighton) and the southern part of the M25 (nearest junction is 6). East Grinstead lies right on the borders of East and West Sussex, Surrey and Kent. The closest areas are Felbridge, Turner's Hill, Crawley Down, Forest Row, Lingfield, Horley. It is also accessible from Oxted, Redhill and Reigate, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Uckfield, Crowborough, and Royal Tunbridge Wells.

Healing hands
I honestly feel that Tracey helped me to bond with my baby at a time when I had suffered a great deal of emotional stress and I am incredibly grateful for that. I am not sure how I feel about the idea of "healers" - I am a natural sceptic, but if such things exist then Tracey certainly has the gift of healing hands.

We took our 3 week old daughter to see Tracey following the advice of our health visitor and midwife. Our daughter was really suffering from wind to the extent of her crying all day and all night and her being in real pain. We only needed 3 sessions with Tracey for her to work her magic and fix our beautiful daughter! Each time we saw Tracey, our daughter seemed so relaxed during her treatment and it was lovely for us to see her in such a peaceful state. We would recommend Tracey if you are having problems with your baby. She is very kind and has a lovely way with children and we did not feel rushed during our sessions. We will certainly use her again if any future problems crop up! Thank you Tracey!
